The people to contact are Command Technology Corp. on 415-339-3530. Ask for Barry Patton. Current release is Version 1.82. I've been using this on an AT since October '84 and have been tickled to death with it. It allows two files open simultaniously, data transport between them, DOS fuction execution from editor, user defined functions, i.e. execution of programs, including batch files whil in editor, etc. etc. It's extremely fast - search for string in file >100K takes less than 10 sec. Will handle any size files your machine has capability for. Uses extended memory when exists, does paging and memory swapping automatically, allows keyboard speedup in AT (at user defined rates), supports color (all attributes fully setable by user from embedded menu). I realize that editors are often almost a religious item amongst users/programmers, but I've rarely seen one with as complete an implementation which is so user friendly. Oh yeah, Ver. 1.82 also includes a fully featured communications package. Only problem with SPF/PC is that editor uses about 140K without communicatons package (which is abt. 40K). Max S.
