Running on UN*X I FTP a file from a remote site, move it to my PC using Kermit, and the file bombs with the above error. The remote site was TENEX and I didn't know; I used binary mode (type=image) and the file was corrupted. Set type=L (whatever that is); our FTP has a command "TENEX" to do this. -- James F.
