I have a half dozen floppies with some files that cannot be read with 3.1, but are copied fine with 2.1. Same physical drive. These are Tandon or IBM 360k full-height (antique) drives. Using vanilla DOS COPY command. A Toshiba half-height drive reads the same files fine. Errors are "Data error reading . . ." and "Sector not found . . .". The drives run slower under 3.1. Does anyone have information about patches that may help? Thank you in advance for any assistance. ------- Christopher J.
