Lines: 12 I was unable to send direct email reply, so I'm posting to the net: I seem to recall Maggie Lettvin (of Maggie's Beautiful Machine--WGBH) listing calorie counts for various everyday activities. I think climbing stairs was given as 12 calories per minute, without any distinction made between going up or down.
