Actually, the title of your posting reminds me of a movie that might count. It was called, if I remember correctly, ``The Next Voice You Hear''. The premise is that the Voice of God starts being heard on the radio every day at the same time. Although the (other?) characters in the movie hear the voice, the audience never does, since the radio broadcasts are only heard off-screen. ***SPOILER WARNING*** Actually, it's more complicated than that. For six days, the broadcasts are heard off-screen. On the seventh day, in the climactic scene of the movie, all the characters are gathered to hear the Voice of God together but there is only silence at the appointed time. The regular radio announcer comes on and announces that it seems that, since it is the seventh day, God has decided to rest, just as at the creation. ***End SPOILER WARNING*** Internet: ingria@prep Usenet: ...allegra!mit-eddie!mit-prep!ingria
