The gateway here protects the poor denizens of USENET from this sort of trash (you should see my mailbox; I'm usenet@ucbvax.berkeley.edu, and this is the gateway for a large number of groups). This sort of mail should not have gotten to you, but 1. the gateway at rochester is not protecting you properly. 2. the mailer at (where was it?) is broken [most TOPS-20 mailers are].
