Ojai was where jk had the "experience" that he considered to be the turning
point in his life (August 17, 1922). He always had a great liking for Ojai.
He became a permanent resident of this country a few years ago.

why are you interested in his baldness, or his "hiding" of his baldness?
why are you even interested in his physical self? 

i refuse to interpret jk for you:

If you are *really* interested in finding about what jk lived for, try
reading either the Penguin readers or to start things off (so that you can
relate to his teachings in the '80s) with "The Flame of Attention"
(a collection of talks given in India/Switzerland/England/USA during '81--'82)
or "You are the world" (talks given at Brandeis/Berkeley/Stanford/UC Santa Cruz)
