Sometime in the past month or two I read a newspaper article about
a new vaccine being available for some fairly common (?) and
deadly dog disease.  Unfortunately, I didn't save the newspaper
article.  Does anyone know anything about this?  (All those details
I just gave are real useful, huh?)  What is the disease?  How bad is
it?  Is the vaccine commonly available?  Will it be?  What does it
cost?  [I'll do it anyway - gave the three cats the full series of
feline leukemia shots last summer - I think the vet took a vacation
in Hawaii the next month. :-) ]
