The conditions at Tahoe right now are terrible.  It's been raining
to 7500 feet or higher for two days.  Today's high was supposed to be
over 50.  Besides the *serious* flooding and similar hazards,
there is a large avalache danger.  I heard that Alpine Meadows was
being evacuated (unconfirmed).
