   A friend and I are thinking about going to Taos, NM over our Spring
Break (April 14-18, I think) and would like to know a couple of things.
First -- WHAT'S THE PLACE LIKE?  Does it offer a lot of advanced terrain?
How about the snow conditions (now, and typical Spring conditions in April)?
Does anyone have any idea how long it would take to drive there from Calif.?
Any general impressions would be greatly appreciated.
