Maybe her description's off. (actually there is not much description there). Maybe she didn't actually see the original runs of Startrek. Anyway, the reason I am writing is to recommend a book called "The Making of Startrek" by some guy named Gene Roddenberry (please excuse the spelling). This book tells "it all". A must for trekkies (assuming you can still find a copy).
