A friend of mine supposidly read in some newspaper (The National Midnight
Star?) that a domed stadium is going to be built in Anchorage Alaska.  A
group of Anchorage businessmen are proposing the stadium as part of a bid
for the Canadian Football League's Calgary Stampeders;  the "Anchorage
Huskies" would be the first American team in the CFL.

CAN ANYONE CONFIRM THIS?

If this is true, I can imagine that quite a few Calgarians will be upset. 
And everyone in Toronto will be pissed-off, 'cause they're supposed to be
getting a fancy new domed stadium (with a retractable roof, no less!) some-
time within the next few years.
