Computer Horror Stories...(that EXPLODE) Blowing a fuse reminds me a story about the old Hawk anti-aircraft guided missile: An Israely Air-Force engineer found that if a certain resistor in a missile's "computerized" guidence system was shorted and the operator of the main control pressed the "indicator light test" button, the entire battery (three rockets?) will be fired, aimed at [your guess is as good as anyone else's]. They tried it, it worked!
