Chicago, Astronomy & Astrophysics Lines: 14 Summary: Here's one hot off the press: it happened not to "somebody, somewhere", but right down the hall from my office last Tuesday, in the room containing an ELXSI 6400 and a Harris 1200. An electrician was drilling some holes in the floor to attach a new conduit and the drill struck a neolithic hot water pipe. The geyser shot all the way to the ceiling. The floor was a few inches deep and steam was rising from under the movable tiles. Strangely enough, the electrician was standing ankle deep in water right next to a 220V, 100A power socket, but is still living. Wonders never cease. _____________________________________________________ Matt University crawford@anl-mcs.arpa Crawford of Chicago ihnp4!oddjob!matt
