His home base was in Minn. As is normal in this type of work he had been somewhat lax about calling home and checking in with the little woman. One day his wife tracked him down at the customer site via telephone. He was very busy at the time hot on the trail of an intermittent bug and was somewhat abrupt when he answered the phone. She told him "I know that your very busy and I hate to bother you but I have made a decision and I thought that I should share it with you. I've decided that I should have a baby, and I'm going to start on it tonight." at which point she hung up. Needless to say he didn't stay in NYC much longer. Aaron Friend
