FIND ANOTHER WORD! LIFE IS HARD ENOUGH FOR METAPHYSICIANS > AS IT IS!!! Yes, I *have* heard that it's very rare for a meta to become ill. [ Ooh, ouch, ouch, I didn't mean it! Honest, I'll go quietly! I know she's heard it a hundred times, but I couldn't help myself, officer... (gosh those nightsticks are *hard*, and the net.police are so *vicious*) ] On a more serious note, calling "parapsychology" "metaphysics" is almost as silly as calling "physics" "epistemology". They may have some areas of overlap.... but not much. I'm moderately surprised that RAH did this. Can anyone tell me where? And was it he himself or a character in a work of his fiction that made the mistake? > Laura Creighton hoptoad!laura toad@lll-crg.arpa -- Wayne Throop at Data General, RTP, NC !mcnc!rti-sel!dg_rtp!throopw
