This is not entirely true.  Rather than expound here on all of Mr. Herbert's
feelings on the fiasco that was released as "Dune", I shall refer you to
the foreward in Frank Herbert's "EYE" which should be available in any good
bookstore near you.

DISCLAIMER: I have not read "EYE", I have only read the foreward.  Therefore
            this is NOT a recommendation for the book.
