Looking for articles, stories, references etc. featuring a secret
society called the "Tom Paine Society", which appeared in various
sf and fantasy mags in the late 40-50's.

Basic theme is political action through individuals.  The Tom
Paine society has no list of members, each member acts independently
by the tenets of the society without acknowledgement or communication
between members.
