Lines: 60 In one of Elaine's postings (she said it or quoted someone else.), there was a line about someone asking men if they'd stay home with the kids and let the lady work. The situation I was in that runs parallel to that scenario looked like this. My SO at the time had two kids. She got up early and went to work. I took care of the kids until she came home in the afternoon. I left for work then because I worked second shift. It worked out fairly well. I couldn't have quit my job because her job wouldn't have supported us. If she had a better job things might have been different. I don't think I would have minded as long as she got to see as much of the kid as they (her and the kids) wanted. The only stipulation would have to be that the kids must be with their mother quite a bit. Note though, these were not my kids nor was she my wife. If I ever meet a lady who thinks enough of me to have my kids, the kids are going to get to see her and love her as much as possible. Whatever arrangemnet we can make to see that that happens will be okay with me. We will also want to provide that we both get some time to ourselves. Other topic... Yes, people keep hammering away at the old "learn to spell and learn English" topic. And me, I just keep on postin' to try to lighten things up on this net. Its a rough job, but someone has to do it(8-). I'd just like to point your attention to something. While you good people are getting a might befuddled over some missuses of the English Language, there are some folks who are not as priviledged as we. Just think of the people runnin' ridges an' "hollers" and trompin' the timberland. They've never even heard of the net let alone talked to any of you folks. They've never heard that you can't use Coke as a contraceptive, they don't know that women use to much toilet paper and they don't have you folks to ask about any of these topics. I just thank my lucky stars I have the chance to talk to you good folks. All of you should feel fortunate that you have some way to compare topics over thousands of miles and yell at someone you don't agree with even though the party is clear across the country. There are people who don't know you can ignore someone with the simple tap of an "n" key. If you look at this thing right, we don't have it so bad on this here net. We only think we do. STella will probably agree to the following. So will Laura Creighton. You may not always agree with every posting you see. But, I want you to try to avoid usin' that ol' "n" key. You may miss a chance to burn someone who really needs toasted. Hell, you might even miss gettin' ta see sumpthin' that *I* posted. HA HA HA, The Devil made me type that stuff in. He kep pokin' me in th' ass with his pitch fork. Damn his hide... He also made me use two dear lady's names in pain. Alas, I hope they can find it in their hearts to forgive me. ^^^^ Yes pain. That fork is sharp! Ya'll take it easy, an' Ol' Grizzly'll have a drink in your honor. Smile if ya can. Tom Frye
