This was an occasion where I really covered this question all in the span of 15 minutes. I was really attracted to a woman where I work. I spent months admiring her from afar, and then weeks getting acquainted and building up my nerve to ask her out. Amazing... Finally, heart pounding, I asked her for a dinner date. She declined with some excuse about her mother visiting or something. Then I decided that I needed to know, and asked, "Should I ask again?" She smiled sweetly and shook her head, "No." Well that was that. How was I to know she was gay? -- Mojo ...
