Either it's been talked about too much before, or people who read these groups haven't ever been married--much less divorced. Who knows. I do think, though, that one of the big reasons I got a divorce was that my husband couldn't handle the fact that I had a better job than he, and that fact was not about to change. (Crummy grammar; but I AM trying to get a point across.) I also think that he and I were brought up differently...his mom never worked, and always did whatever dear Daddy said. My mother worked all through my youth, and I was always encouraged to do the best I could in school. I played with Tonka Trucks and GI Joes while other girls had their Barbies.....who knows. I DO make a whole lot more money than most of those young ladies who liked to play dress up....(Oh COME ON mom, I wanna go outside and play TRUCKS!!!)
