The only one that is questionable from my point of view is the part about being so blind to interest from the opposite sex. I have found myself truly perplexed at how a girl (I'm still in school) can just dance around things and rarely give you a straight answer. This realtes to the "is no NO" question, and what do you do when they swear up and down that they want to go out with you (even when you provide ample chance to back out gracefully) yet can't find time it, and yet still find time to go out with someone else here and there. Then there is the case (and I've seen it right and left in my fraternity) of the girl who is treated like absolute shit by some guy and can do nothing but expound on how great he is, and after he's finally used her enough and cast her off, she crys on your shoulder and start going out with the other guys roommate who treats her exactly the same. I can't count the times I've heard "you're the kind of guy I want to marry" from friends who turn around and damn near chase the abusers.... *I* can't figure it out... Perhaps our original author was wrong in her assertion that we are not the same species.....I think we're basically the same, we've just got different orientations, and those who stradle the lines of those orientations lose.
