Just like the future Americans did when indigenous people were found on this continent. Sorry about the sarcasm but history does show that humans do have a tendency to enslave and/or suppress natives who have the misfortune to reside on a piece of property that a stronger people have an eye on. I am personally not convinced that the trend will stop when (not if) we colonize space. In time we may evolve and mature. But - not yet.
