I just wanted to point out that other terms have been defined (and are in use). periastron - that point in the orbit of a star or other celestial body where it is nearest to the primary star around which it is revolving. apojove - the point farthest from the planet Jupiter in the orbit of each of its satellites Other terms have been similarly defined.
