There is a large group of (potential) investors in place, and they made a strong pitch to Ueberroth. They will have to build *another* new stadium, which seems kind of stupid since the fabulous Hoosier Dome is only three or so years old...I think they built it so it wouldn't meet Baseball guidelines on purpose, to further stimulate the construction industry when a new one would be needed. You can't blame them for being eager, though...the theft of the Colts brought in a bonanza of economic stimuli. By the way, are the Orioles looking for a new home?
