What reasoning (beyond general emotionality) do you have for believing this?
I've watched Michigan play on several occasions and while Grant and Joubert
are good, they have an annoying habit of disappearing for long stretches.
There are several guard tandems that are as good or better (but perhaps not
with the fancy nicknames:)

Duke: Amaker and Dawkins
Ga. Tech: Price and Dalrymple
UNC: K. Smith and Hale

...but let's get real.  It takes more of a backcourt that two to win a
conference title much less a national championship.  You can't have both
those guys on the court for 40 minutes.  Things get pretty wretched at
old UM when you get beyond the first two.

Huh?  Who has not been following what basketball?  The ACC has not been playing
"wimpy" basketball for a while.   It certainly isn't obvious to me in watching
that the Big 10 is any more physical than the ACC these days.
