Sorry about making my own confusion so public! At least your posting explains why I hadn't heard anything about the post-season version of the NIT--all the quality teams from the West are filling up the slots, leaving the ACC (and lesser conferences) to settle for the lowly NCAAs. And in case anyone thinks I'm serious about starting an East-vs-West debate-- :-) :-) etc. I'm glad to hear the NIT will stick around; the more basketball, the better. One question, though-- WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO AFTER BASKETBALL SEASON??? ARRRGGGHHHH (I despise baseball!)
