The following is being posted for a friend:

We have a compugrahpic MCS 10/100 typesetter system.  We also have
  TROFF (not DITROFF!).  We want to be able to drive the MCS with
  TROFF.
Has anybody written a translation program as a back-end to TROFF, or
  figured out a way to get the MCS to think it's a C/A/T ??

We tried to find a local COMPUGRAPHIC technical rep, but coudn't.

Any information anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.
