Such fun. The windsurfer appears to be little more than 1 metre wide, and perhaps 5 metres long. The sails appear to be about 5 metres high. Frenchmen Alain Pichavant and Stephane Peyron arrive in Guadeloupe after making the first east-west crossing of the Atlantic on a tandem surfboard. The journey from Dakar, Senegal, took 24 days, 15 hours and 20 minutes, covering 4,900 kilometres. -- Name: Richard Snell Mail: Dept. Zoology, Univ.
