May I also recommend Max Fleicher's SUPERMAN cartoons; along with the POPEYE
ones he did, this is some of the best animation I've ever seen.

Robin Williams has said that if you listen *very* carefully and turn the
volume up real loud, Popeye's mutterings in the Fleicher cartoons is pretty
salty....
