I have waited a week before posting, and since no-one mentioned it...
	(else it takes a week for material to filter down to here)

A Great episode of TZ on Feb 14. First a Lovecraftian horror by
Harlan Ellison based on a Stephen King story. Really creepy! 
First time I ever heard anyone pronounce Cthulhu.

But the second story had some subtle meta-[a-z]* material. 

[SPOILER ALERT!]

Title:		Personal Demons
Synopsis:
		Opens up with the camera panning over the cover sheet of
	some old TV scripts. Shows like _The Mod Squad: "Fink on Ice"_
	etc. Camera pans to writer typing. Friend comes in and chats.

Friend:	"Why don't you retire?"
Rocky:	"I just want to write one more original story. All I have been doing
	is rehashing the same old stuff for the last twenty years."

	Later he sees a strange creaure/demon with a black robe as he
	gets into his car. No one else sees this creature. It comes towards
	him. He quickly gets inside his car and drives off.

	Later he is at a party. A TV show in on. Some typical cop
	show, it seems. Written by "Rockne O'Bannon"
Friend:	"Hey Rocky! One of your shows is on TV!"
	Rocky is busy watching three demons jump all over his car.
	No-one else sees the demons. But they do damage his car,
	and people can see the damage.

	Wakes up that night to strange noises. Opens up his bedroom
	door and sees demons tearing his pillows apart, etc.
	He slams the bedroom door shut and locks it.

	This continues, until he has boarded up all the windows.
	They tear the boards off and get into the house. They
	come closer and closer, surrounding him.
Rocky:	"What do you want? Why are you doing this to me?"
Demon:	"Heh heh heh. We want you to WRITE about us! heh heh heh..."

	Rocky is surrounded by demons, all laughing at him. He puts
	paper in the typewriter and starts typing. Slowly the demons
	dissappear.

	Fade to credits

BTW - My wife remembers the some of the shows mentioned in the beginning.
Rocky (Rockne?) is also one of the TZ producers and has been in the
business for a while. I wonder if he means to retire soon? His personal
demon story is a great way to "announce" it.
