Lines: 4 Some of the dual-universe machines, including Pyramid and Apollo, implement multiple versions of the chapter 2 system calls inside the kernel as well as different libraries for the chapter 3 stuff. This requires that the kernel know which universe the program wants to run in, but that's not hard.
