I have a few questions, baffling but trivial, about unix logins.

	How can I get sio dumb terminals to use /bin/login?
I have "env UNIXLOGIN true" set in every startup file I could find.
I also have /bsd4.2/bin/csh as the shell to use in `node_data/siomonit_file.
Yet the login prompt is "Please Log in:" and none of the /bin/login
features are available (new mail notification, /etc/passwd shell checking...).
Also, is there a way that I can use /bin/login on a node also so that
users are notified when they have mail ...
Another reason that I would like to use /bin/login on sio lines is so that
when uucp logs in, it will know from /etc/passwd to run uucico.real.

	I have Remote logins (ethernet TCP/IP rlogin) working from any
node to another node and from either of our VAX 11/750's to any node.
When logging in from anyplace to an apollo (non-gateway) node, rlogin
correctly reads /etc/passwd and uses /bin/csh as the shell.  But, if
I log in from any node or from either of the VAX 11/750s to the gateway
node itself (which incidentally contains the /etc directory) I get
the bourne shell /bin/sh.

Any insight into this phenomena will be greatly appreciated.
