I am trying to gather information as to what people have done in the area
of disk striping, i.e., increasing file I/O by distributing a file across
more than one disk spindle. I am interested in both VMS and Unix possibilities.

As usual, I will summarize if sufficient interest is shown. I've also posted
to net.periphs and net.unix-wizards.
