I disagree with the complaint.

I find it very interesting to find out what are the seminars being given in 
other schools.  It is not easy to keep in touch with what is happening 
elsewhere - the seminar postings on the net are very helpful.

Everything will seem like a waste to someone.  The seminar postings are, for 
me at least, by far the most interesting items on net.ai.
