Yes, there are TWO "pops" that sound like static!!! Which CD do you have??? I have the Harvest version, and the "Comfartably Numb" track actually starts in the middle of some guy saying "Time to go!! Time to go!!" with a girl saying "Are you OK??? Are you OK???" The actual music doesn't start until 20 seconds into the track. The first "pop" happens 12 (almost 13) seconds into the track, and the second happens at 19 seconds into the track. Many people may be saying "Bah!!! Humbug!!!" but let me point out that the "pops" are very soft, and I had to turn up the volume quite a bit to hear them. I've had the CD for almost 6 months now, and this is the first time I noticed it (of course, I'm always listening to the music, and unless there is a very gross defect, I can always tune the minor defects out).
