I want to put P185/60HR-14 tires on my Scirocco (please, no "It isn't worth it" flames) and need to get new rims. My car is a grey metallic and no BBS rim looks good on it, I've looked at silver/silver, gold/silver, silver/polished, gold/polished, black/ polished, grey/polished and I don't like them. I also don't like any Weds, Centra, Ronal or ATS rims. I do like the five spoke Gottis, and have seen them in offsets for FWD cars like mine. I am also interested in which is the best 60 series tire. I guess I am interested in predictable breakaway and tread life, rather than a super sticky soft compound with limited tread life. I am considering the P6, P600, VR60, Comp T/A, and A-008. How much should I expect to pay? Any recommendations against changing tires or for going to P195/50VR-15 tires? (I don't think my poor little VW is worth those) The insurance survey has gotten over thirty responses. I am busy compiling the results and will be ready to post the results in a few days. Keep sending in those VISA card numbers. I can almost retire now. Bitchin' Camaro! Jonathan Hue Bitchin' Camaro! LMSC-Mechanisms & Servos Tire Tracks Across your Lawn!
