No! But I tried! My Accord is of the '81 variety, and there was some vibration when even when new. Wish I'd pursued it under warranty. Had the rotors turned at 45K miles and that helped for about 15K miles. Now at 90K miles and I'd have 'em turned again but there's not enough thickness left. Replacing the rotors is pretty costly because the front wheel bearings need to be replaced at the same time. Last time I got a quote they said about $300 for both sides! So far, the problem is annoying but not dangerous, however, once when going down a steep hill at 70 or so the vibration got really bad - on the dangerous side in my opinion. What I don't understand is why the problem seems to come and go (and why it's usually worse going downhill). MEANWHILE: Using a torque wrench to tighten the lug nuts definitely minimizes the problem! (I wonder if it isn't caused by failure of so-called mechanics to follow a proper tightening sequence when using those air wrenches). hplsla!andyc I disclaim everything. Notes? What notes?
