Since I am about to get my IFR rating, and I do not want to fly in IMC without a back-up radio, I am interested in comments from those who have used the HT-830. Flying did a review of hand-held's, and they seem to have liked it, but I'd like to get some more opinions. Also, if you especially liked or disliked some other radio, I'd be interested as well.
