Lines: 30 [ Eat lines! Dashed or solid, yellow or white: swallow by the century!] Friends, netters, cyclists, lend me your ears: I am looking for a medium to high quality rain suit that could serve double duty as a wind breaker in cold weather. Light weight would be nice as I tour under mid- western conditions (20 deg. C in the post noon, 0 deg. C in the pre-dawn) and need to pack and unpack it often; I *don't* want to sacrifice waterproofness for weight reduc- tion. I think it should be ``bicycle cut'' but I'm not sure. My research indicates that GORTEX stuff is the way to go but again I'm not sure. I ride a lot of road miles in cool/cold weather, com- mute in the slush and the rain, and occasionally wear a lit- tle mud. I'd like something that is relatively easy to clean and care for. I'm willing to pay as much as is neces- sary to get a quality product. Manufacturers, distributors, mail order addresses, prices, caveats: I will greatfully receive any suggestions you might have. -- Trevor K.
