My daughters birthday is in a few weeks and she wants a 10 speed.  We have
been doing a lot of riding together for the last 2 years and she has built
up her stamina to do about 4 miles per outing.  I'm riding a Centurian La
Mans 12 but think that is a little much for her.

I have looked at a few different bikes and it seems that the Schwinn Sprint
wouldn't be too bad if I replaced the steel wheels with alloy wheels.  But
I'm not sure and would appreciate any suggestions any of you have to offer.
My first priority is quality, second priority is price.

Also my daughter is outgrowing her protec helmet, any suggestions?
