Any suggestions > would be appreciated. This comes up about once a year. A lot of people, me included, believe that those child carrier seats are unsafe. If you take a spill, especially a full forward gainer, you can seriously injure the child. A better alternative is a bike trailer like the Cannondale "Bugger." The child is much better protected, and the trailer will remain upright even if you crash the bike. Most of them are big enough for two toddlers. In any case, you should get a helmet for the kid, and pick one up for yourself while you're at it. Even if you're just puttering around the block after supper, you can't be too careful. -- __ / \ \__/ Bob Fishell ihnp4!ihu1g!fish
