Summary: Shakespearean actors in juvenial books, a little more to go on

A while back I asked for any leads to the author/title of a series of
juvenial books about a Shakespearean actress.  Well, a little more, the
actress' name was Miranda, and the parts that she did included Ophelia and
Celia.  Agh, not all that much more to go on, but I would appreciate any
more help.  Thanks.
