Brother Jed was recently spotted at the University of Oregon castigating a
woman who was wearing seven earrings by calling her "no better than a
savage."

No, he hasn't shown up at Reed yet, but a few years ago one of his cohorts
got into an argument with one of Reed's philosophy professors.  Someone
with a good sense of humor started keeping score, and the prof won, seven
to nothing.
