I assumed (possibly incorrectly) that the reason Ms. Lee mentioned "The Rocketeer" was because she couldn't explicitly name the competitor which she was defecting to (in this case, her reference to "The Rocketeer" was a pointer to ECLIPSE Comics). This seems quite reasonable in view of the tyranny that Jim Shooter has held over Marvel Comics. Also, Dave Stevens is a notoriously slow worker -- which is fine by me as long as he keeps the quality in his work. This is reminiscent of Neal Adams (who supposedly could never keep a deadline, and is carrying on the tradition with his own line of comics from CONTINUITY Associates), so I wouldn't expect a "Rocketeer" issue to appear for quite some time... And lastly, I was reading an issue of "Guitar Player Magazine" and noticed that an advertisement for some type of digital sampling system (I can't remember what brand it was off the top of my head) was drawn by none other than Dave Stevens! Stuart Yoshida "She loves to limbo, that much is clear; She's got the right dynamics for the New Frontier." hp-sdd!-------\ hp-pcd!------\ csu-cs!-----\ ihnp4!----->--hpfcla!hpfclh!yoshida edison!-----/ hpbbn!-------/ hplabs!-------/
