For those interested, I'll tell you what some of the late Teardrop Explodes are 
doing now. Julian Cope has made two fine solo LP's, 'World Shut Your Mouth' and
'Fried'. He hasn't quite managed a hit single from these albums, but those
released were 'Sunshine Playroom', "The Greatness & perfection of Love', and
'Sunspots', which appeared as a double-pack. Troy Tate has released one solo LP,
'Ticket to the Dark' on Sire (JC is still on Mercury), and a single from this,
'Thomas'.
