well, i finally did it.  even after having to dump a grand into uncle sams'
pocket this year, i went out and bought me a shiny, new, out-of-the-crate
1985 yamaha virago 1000.  i even took a ride last night (minneapolis, winter,
ice, sand, reeeeaaal coooold :-).  i can't believe that i waited so long.

i've had my eye on this beauty for a year.  the price finally came down to
something that i could not afford to pass up.  i even moved the thing into
my basement from the garage.  

i am pumped!  get this damn ice/snow/sand offa my roads! ;-)  i wanna ride.
i may even put on my snowmobile suit and ride to work tomorrow.
