I'm considering purchasing a 1982 Yamaha Maxim 750cc.  It is a used 
bike with ~6k miles on it and has some added accessories, such as:
a luggage carrier with adjustable backrest, crashbars, and a cruise
control clip on the throttle.  The cycle is in great shape (garage kept)
and is being sold for $1350.  My questions are:

	- is this a good buy for the money?  Calling around and
	  pricing them seemed so (the lowest price I got for
	  a new 1982 was $2200).
	
	- any horror or good stories on this bike?
