If you had a handful of VAXes (running either BSD Unix or VMS) scattered
across the country, and you wanted to be able to exchange mail and files,
how would you do it?

Some solutions might be to use a public PDN and X.25, or to put all the
hosts on Usenet and use uucp, or to try and get on a network like Arpanet,
or CSNET.  Maybe you would even use dialups and kermit :-).

Please send me any ideas you have, and if you are doing something like this,
real-life experience would be even more helpful.
