Since I have other work to do (on a VAX), I havn't persued it much. However, I did find out that the screen garbling is due to the global curX getting garbage put in it at some point. Why, I don't know, and lacking a debbuger (cdb won't handle the size of gnuemacs) you can imagine the frustration I went thro' just to find out the above. If there's a few more people out there with 6/32's perhaps we mount a join effort (of even two !) to crack this. Even being able to put cbd over it would be an enormous help (why is it that every C debbuger I use under Unix doesn't work ?) You'd better mail me direct to avoid clogging the net up any more.
